"Decca (London) Records are planning to make their special announcement of this on or about June the 20th; they are also planning---as I hear---to fly a plane-load of interested persons from London to West Germany for a day for recording sessions in July" Dorati then gives a detailed itinerary for the summer up to the time he will arrive in Washington, where he took over the deeply troubled National Symphony, which was experiencing bankruptcy and labor disputes.
